Bass Coast The Sequel Music Video Contest

Brought to you by Bass Coast and Technomorph, the music video comp is a live multimedia music video DJ/VJ show taking place at the Slay Bay Stage on Friday Night. (see BCP 2010 Schedule). Open to all filmmakers, the entries get mixed into a 45 min set and projected to the crowd on 2 large screens in a unique competition atmosphere. All music video styles are accepted and content open and un-censored.

This year’s show has some new rules and regulations. ALL FILMS MUST HAVE MUSIC/ MIXES FROM OUR BASS COAST LINE UP. We will supply a list of tracks you can use to create your music video, OR if you know a DJ on our line- up you can work together on a new track, OR if you really want to use an independent track IT MUST BE PRE-APPROVED.

3rd Annual Boogie Woogie BBQ in the park

It’s father’s day, it’s Drive Days....it’s the 3rd annual Boogie Woogie BBQ in Victoria park (bocce park on Victoria drive). This was such an amazing event last year with over 300 people in attendance with their dogs, kids, frisbees and bocce bays. BBQs were brought and great food, drink were had, along with fantastic music served up by DJs K-Tel and Vinyl Ritchie all on 45s.

At 7pm we will start stylishly congregating at Science World (a.k.a. the Space Ball at Quebec St & Terminal Ave). We'll have a leisurely ride about town until we arrive at our party destination: 121 Studios for approximately 8:30pm (please do not show up there early - as they have a class booked until 8pm!!)
There we plan on having fun and being social until a dance party breaks out and the fire marshal comes. We would like for you and your loved ones to join us.

As for the actual issue, for May/June 2010 we bring you the Travel Issue – Momentum visits Detroit; talks bike gear for touring the world; teaches you how to make your own booming bike system and has a chat with the Bike Snob.
