Bhangra Dance Party, Roller Disco and Father day BBQ

This weekend K-Tel’s got a full plate o’ music to serve up to you. Starting off on Sat. night at the Dollhouse with the Bhangra inspired Temple of Boom party. The will be my 1st foray into DJing with Ableton Live. Sunday we rise and hit the streets for the Commercial Drive days festival and the Roller Disco party, followed by Technomorph and Hip Baby’s 2nd Annual Boogie Woogie BBQ in the park, an all 45 event

Perception inc. boys bring you the return of the Disco 5000 series event with Space Saturn Disco, K-Tel, Neighbour and U-Turn. K-Tel will also be flipping and doing visuals as Technomorph at this event. May 23rd at the Dollhouse Studios

Major Web Page Overhaul and Update started

Well I’ve now got the basic template stuff in place for the web page and it’s not just a matter of plugging all the info. I’ve started to place all of the mixes in mp3 format up on the page, along with immediate preview players. Will also be posting up live DJ set recordings as well. A gigs section has also been included, but the dates are a bit backwards right now. More Soon!

New Mix - Bad Ass Blue Bees

K-Tel’s latest mix is now online. Bad Ass Blue Bees was inspired by the Dollhouse Studios 2nd Anniversary Blue Party and by the PBS documentary Silence of the Bees As in usual K-Tel style...there is always a new flavour being served. This mix contains many of the B’s:
Breaks, Baile, Baltimore, Booty along with some hip-hop and funk too. Mixed on the full moon of Oct.15/2008
